Issue: Vertical accessibility to hotel guest rooms on the first floor. The rooms are accessed from the accessible lobby via steps. The second floor contains accessible rooms which are served by an elevator. According to the applicant, the owner would prefer having all levels accessible, but doing so would entail extensive modifications that would damage the historic significance of the structure.
Recommendation: Grant, as unnecessary.

Adventist Health Systems Headquarters
Issue: Vertical accessibility to all rows of seats in a 111 seat auditorium in a corporate facility. The appropriate number of accessible seating locations with companion seats are provided at the front and rear of the room and sight lines are between 15 and 30 degrees.
Recommendation: Grant, for extreme hardship, provided the companion seats are placed at the ends of the rows and move one accessible seat from the rear to the front.
Latitude 30 Degrees:
Issue: Vertical accessibility to all rows of seats in a movie theater.
The design provides for two wheelchair seating locations at the front and two in the rear of a theater in a family entertainment center.
Recommendation: Grant, for extreme hardship,provided the back row has removable seats.
Denied:
Pine Creek Sporting Club
Issue: Vertical accessibility to all levels of a tree house structure.
The structure is located in a private, members only club which includes a lodge, various types of shooting sports, helipad, recreational field, toy barn, nature trails, horse stables, dog kennels, aviary and volleyball and bocce courts. All other portions of the club are fully accessible. The tree house levels are very small and are used only for leisure activities.
Recommendation: Deny for lack of hardship.
