TAC Objectives

SPECIAL OCCUPANCY TAC Members Present: Chairman; Jon Hamrick, Mark Boutin, Frank Frail, Charles Frank, Jim Ginas, Bob Vincent, Wayne Young.

SPECIAL OCCUPANCY TAC Members Absent: Scott Cannard, Gene Chalecki, Phillip Wisley

STAFF PRESENT: Mo Madani, April Hammonds, Jim Richmond, Marlita Peters, Ken Cureton, Jim Hammers, Robert Lorenzo.

Objective – to discuss and recommend potential research topics for consideration by the Commission and to review comments related to the 2013 Update to the Florida Building Code for the purpose of making recommendation(s) for consideration by the Commission during the Rule Development on Rule 61G20-1.001, F.A.C..

Meeting Minutes
Objective	Review of objectives will include the following: Description of issue, discussion by TAC, public comment, TAC action.
1)	Welcome and Opening Remarks. Meeting began promptly at 10:00AM. TAC Members and the public were given a brief overview of teleconference etiquette and protocols.
2)	Roll Call: Roll was taken and a quorum was present.
3)	Review and Approval of Meeting Agenda: Motion by Mark Boutin, seconded by Wayne Young, to accept the Agenda as advertised. Vote: unanimous to accept.
4)	Review and Approval of Meeting Minutes of June 13, 2013: Motion by Frank Frail, seconded by Mark Boutin, to accept the Minutes of June 13, 2013 as submitted. Vote: unanimous approval to accept.
5)	Discuss and recommend potential research topics for consideration by the Commission: There were no recommendations for research topics prior to or during today’s discussion.
6)	Review comments related to the 2013 Update to the Florida Building Code for the purpose of making recommendation(s) for consideration by the Commission during the Rule Development on Rule 61G20-1.001, F.A.C. Mo Madani stated that no comments were received to date regarding the glitch proposals. No further comments were made.
7)	Other Commission business: None.
8)	Public Comment. None.
9)	Member Comment. None.
10)	Schedule next meeting. To be determined.
11)	Adjournment. Motion by Bob Vincent, seconded by Mark Boutin, to adjourn. 10:09AM.
