code language for the implementation of HB 535 and SB 1602 Proposed Code Changes.
Sections 17 (19): Provides for provisions relating to service
access elevators and elevators lobbies in certain buildings (Concurently
with Special Occupancy TAC) SB 1602: Provides for clearance requirements
for elevators inside a private residence. (Concurently with Special
Occupancy TAC)

code language for the implementation of HB 535 and SB 1602 Proposed Code Changes.
Section 24: Provides for
exemptions for certain applications from certain smoke alarm requirements. Section 32: Provides for
definition of the term “Fire separation distance”. Section 33: Provides for requirements for opening and
roof overhang projections for zero lot-line dwellings. Section 36: Provides for
minimum fire separation distances for non-fire resistant rated exterior
walls. Section 37: Provides for
requirements that a restaurant, cafeteria, or similar dining facility have
sprinklers only under specific circumstances. |
