This course will address the different fenestration codes within the Florida Building Codes 6th Edition (2017). History and why opening protection is important, explanation of testing methods and label requirements, wind-borne debris provisions and ASCT 7-10 maps, code issues when choosing fenestration products, caution when reviewing either a FL product approval or a Miami-Dade NOA. Decisions to be compliant with the current and future codes, and resources will be provided.
