Description:

The building is a car dealership with service and parts departments. Most of the area of the existing building is on the first floor. The scope of this alteration project is to renovate the second floor offices and restrooms. There are restrooms and offices on the first floor as well. The area of alteration on the 2nd floor is 2,400 sf. Which is roughly 17% of the total overall square footage of the building.

The owner of Dyer Mazda would like to be considered for a waiver of the vertical accessibility requirement. With the estimated cost of the alteration the additional cost associated with an elevator would be cost prohibitive. There are offices and restrooms on the first floor.
