TAC Members Present Via Teleconference: Drew M. Smith , Chair; Ron Bailey; Brent Caldwell; Oscar Calleja; Bob Cochell; Jan Geyselaers ; Roger Sanders; David Wojcieszak

Objectives: To review and provide recommendations on an Energy Simulation Tool submittal.

Meeting Minutes
Objective	Discussion of objectives included the following:
1)	2:31 PM. Welcome and Opening, Roll Call. A quorum was present. Norman Bellamy, facilitator for the Florida Building Commission, provided a welcome and a brief introduction of the members present.
2)	The agenda and was approved unanimously by the committee members. An error was noticed for the record concerning meeting minutes for the August 08^th, 2014 Energy TAC. Noting that Jan Geyselaers was indeed present at that meeting. Accepted unanimously by the committee members.
3)	Objective: To Review and provide recommendations to the Commission on possible submittals for approval of energy compliance software REM/Rate v15.0 for the 2010 Florida Building Code, Energy Conservation. Discussion was started by the Members on how to proceed with the evaluation of REM/Rate v15 submittal. It was decided that the TAC should go through the comments provided by Staff and Florida Solar Energy Center and NORESCO’s response to those comments. Rob Salcido of NORESCO was present to answer TAC and Staff questions. Motion made by Roger Sanders to go through each comment one by one, seconded by Bob Cochell. Suggestion made by Mo Madani to go through only the comments that were in question, not comments that the Staff felt were resolved as in document: Comment 2 Staff uploaded to the online agenda. This was accepted by the TAC. Each comment in question was discussed and voted on by the TAC. This process was repeated for the comments received from the Florida Solar Energy Center. Ultimately the Energy TAC voted for the deferral of the program; on the condition that the changes discussed and voted on were implemented in the software. Motion made by Oscar Calleja and seconded by Bob Cochell. The TAC voted 7 to 3 to defer the program with the provisions mention above.
4)	Public Comment. Public comments were presented during the discussion of the voted on comments.
5)	Other TAC Business. There was no other TAC business
6)	Adjourn: Having no other TAC business, the meeting was closed after a Motion and Second to Adjourn. Time 2:30pm.
