Short Course Description*	As designers of outdoor environments such as parks, river walks, urban plazas and campuses and as participants on interdisciplinary design teams it is imperative that landscape architects be knowledgeable of ADA Standards and their application. The new ADA Standards for Accessible Design were published in September, 2010 and became mandatory in March 15, 2012. The Florida Building Code fully accepts these standards and provides for some more restrictive criteria which will be addressed.
