TAC/POC Members and Objectives

TAC Members Present Via Teleconference: Chair Robert G. Boyer, Jim Bickford, Gary Kozan, Brian Langille, Mike Robbins, Frederick Schilling.

 

TAC Members not Present: Gary Duren, Joseph Kajak, George Seiler, Robert Trumbower.

 

Staff Present: Norman Bellamy, Jim Hammers, April Hammonds, Mo Madani, Marlita Peters, Jim Richmond.

 

Guests Present: Raymond Issa, John Chyz, Joe Belcher, Scott King

Objectives:  

Ř  To review and accept interim report for research project titled “Evaluation of the Cost Impact of the 2015 I-Code Changes.”

 

Meeting Minutes

Objective

Discussion of objectives included the following: 

1)

 

9:00 AM. Welcome and Opening, Roll Call.  A quorum was present.

Marlita Peters for the Florida Building Commission, provided a welcome and a brief introduction of the members present.   

2)

The agenda was approved by the committee members. 

The meeting minutes for the October 5, 2015 meeting of the Plumbing TAC was approved unanimously by the committee members.

3)

Objective: 

To review and accept interim report for research project titled “Evaluation of the Cost Impact of the 2015 I-Code Changes.”

 

Raymond Issa was present from the University of Florida to give a presentation on the research project and ran the presentation on project.  Afterward there was questions from the TAC.  One concerning cost impact information from ICC.  A question regarding due date of the final report and the purpose of the research.  There were also questions concerned with if the report will affect the upcoming code change cycle.   These questions were answered by Mo Madani.

 

·         A motion was made to accept the interim report by Frederick Schilling, and seconded by Bob Boyer. The motion was passed unanimously.

Adjourn:  Having no other TAC business, the meeting was closed after a Motion and Second to Adjourn. Time 9:26 am.
