RULE NO: RULE TITLE
9B-13.0071: Cost Effectiveness of Amendments to Energy Code.
PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To adopt a rule defining a cost-effectiveness test for
proposed increases in energy efficiency within the Florida Energy Efficiency
Code for Building Construction. The cost-effectiveness test shall measure
cost-effectiveness and shall ensure that energy efficiency increases result in
a positive net financial impact.
SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: New energy efficiency
requirements for construction.
