The Evaluation and Negotiation Team (“the Team”) met on February 22, 2010 to discuss the offers submitted by the Respondents and which Respondent the Team believed could provide the best value and service for the money. Since the budgets from the three Respondents were so close, the discussion was directed toward the two Respondents the Team believed could provide the best value and service based on the entity’s experience and capacity to deliver the service: Ted Berman & Associates and Cap government. The Team believed both entities could perform the administrative and review functions; however, given Ted Berman and Associates experience with the Program, including the many positive references from manufacturers, it was determined that Ted Berman & Associates could provide the best value and service for the money.
Recommendation: The Evaluation
and Negotiation Team voted 4-1 to recommend Ted Berman & Associates for the
Product Approval Administrator contract.
