It starts with a history of code and then explores reasons why opening protection is important and how it can save money and possibly lives. An explanation of testing methods and label requirements used by the Fla Building Code will be given. The Wind-borne Debris provisions within the code will be discussed, along with the ASCE 7-22 maps.
