Education Administrator Activity Report

(April 22, 2008 – June 9, 2008)

The following information represents the activities that the Education Administrator performed between April 22, 2008, and June 9, 2008 (36 work days).

Phone Calls

Approximately 35 phone calls were taken and/or responded to between 4/22/08 and 6/09/08. They lasted in length from 1-2 minutes to 10 minutes. Approximately two thirds of the calls were logged, with approximately one – third being handled away from the office. The major areas of inquiry for the calls are listed below with approximate percentages representing how many of a particular call were handled.

• Where to find advanced courses (15%)
• Where to find the 4 hour core course (50%)
• How to buy advanced and/or core course (10%)
• What courses do I need to fulfill my licensure requirements (10 %)
• Where to find online courses (20%)

Emails

Approximately 75 emails were responded to between 4/22/08 and 6/09/08. The same kinds of areas were covered with emails as the above phone calls reflect. At least 50 % of the emails were asking “where to find the 4 hour core course”.

Miscellaneous

• Developed June 2008 POC agenda
• Developed course audit form
• Finished the draft of the training course and downloadable Toolkit/Manual for training providers regarding course development guidelines.
• Researching ways to influence training providers to develop more advanced training courses
