Design Method for Screen Enclosures
PURPOSE
AND EFFECT: The purpose and effect of
the proposed rule is to comply with Ch. 2012-13, Laws of Florida, which
directed the Florida Building Commission to establish a workgroup to assist the
commission in developing a rule for implementing an alternative design method
for screen enclosures which allows for the removal of a section of the screen
to accommodate high-wind events consistent with the provisions of the Florida
Building Code.
