TAC Objectives

SPECIAL OCCUPANCY TAC Members Present: Chairman; Jon Hamrick, Mark Boutin, Scott Cannard, Cam Fentriss, Frank Frail, Charles Frank, Jim Ginas.

TAC Members Absent: Phillip Wisley, Bob Vincent, Gene Chalecki, Wayne Young.

Alternates Present: Ed Barranco for Bob Vincent, Tony McNeal for Gene Chalecki, Scott Walts for Wayne Young.

Guests Present: David Eastman, John Farinelli, Jack Glenn

Staff Present: Mo Madani, Marlita Peters, Ila Jones, Jim Richmond, April Hammonds, Robert Lorenzo, Jim Hammers, Ken Cureton, Patrick Spooks – Legal Intern.

Ø Objective - The purpose of this meeting to accept public input and provide recommendations on the Glitch proposed code changes for the 2013 update to the Florida Building Code.

Meeting Minutes
Objective	Review of objectives will include the following: Description of issue, discussion by TAC, public comment, TAC action.
1)	Welcome and Opening Remarks. Meeting began at 1:00pm
2)	Roll Call: Roll call was taken and a quorum was present.
3)	Review and Approval of Meeting Agenda: Motion to approve todays agenda was provided by Cam Fentriss, seconded by Frank Frail. Vote taken with unanimous approval.
4)	Review and Approval of Meeting Minutes of March 28, 2013: Motion to accept the Meeting Minutes of March 28, 2013 was provided by Cam Frentriss, seconded by Frank Frail. Vote taken with unanimous approval.
5)	Accept public input and provide recommendation on Glitch proposed code changes for the 2013 update to the Florida Building Code. http://www.floridabuilding.org/fbc/thecode/2013_Code_Development_Process.html The Special Occupancy Technical Advisory Committee reviewed 5 proposed glitch modifications for the 2013 update to the Florida Building Code. Four proposed code modifications were approved as submitted. One proposed code modification was voted NAR (no affirmative recommendation).
