Short Course Description*	This advanced course is an in-depth review of damage to health care facilities by flooding from storms, tides, and sea level rise (SLR). Information from the 7th edition of the Florida Building Code will be reviewed in detail with a concentration on Chapter 4, Special Occupancies, Sections 449.4 for hospitals and 450.4 for skilled nursing facilities, as well as other sections of the FBC regarding flooding, especially Chapter 16, Structural Design, Section 1612, Flood Loads.
