Comments:
For this particular interior improvement on the lower level of an existing building, we have researched three different methods of vertical accessibility. The three studied methods were: 1.) Retro-fitting an existing, steeply sloped walkway to ADA standard to wind around the perimeter of the building towards the lower level; 2.) Adding an exterior vertical lift; and 3.) Adding an interior elevator. For each researched method of accessibility, the respective associated construction costs were disproportionate to the proposed interior improvements. The costs are available for your review in the application for waiver. Thank you for allowing us to present these findings. Design Professional First Name: Design Professional Last Name:
