Minutes

The meeting was convened by Chair Dale Greiner at 2:00 p.m. A quorum was achieved with ten voting members present: Steve Bassett, Ron Bailey, Bob Cochell (and second after 8 pm, Oscar Callejas), Philip Fairey, Jan Geyselaers, Dale Greiner, Donald Kitner, Richard Reynolds, Roger Sanders and Chuck Meyers representing Maury Jacobson. Staff support was provided by Ann Stanton and Betty Stevens. The meeting was facilitated by Jeff Blair.

Meeting Objectives:

Review and discuss proposed energy code changes to Chapter 13 of the FBC-Building, Chapter 11 of the FBC-Residential and other related areas of the Florida Building Code as referenced by Rule 9B-13, and provide recommendations for their consideration by the Florida Building Commission.

Actions Taken:

The agenda was unanimously approved.

The TAC went through all proposed code modifications, comments and staff comments. The attached Energy tracking chart with associated recommendations to the Commission for actions on proposed mods, comments and amendments thereto, is incorporated into these minutes by reference.

There was a break for dinner from 6:30 until 8 pm due to excessive noise. The meeting was adjourned by Chair Greiner at 10:00 pm.
