Meeting Objectives:

1. The TAC approved the agenda.

Attendees: Karen Warseck, Nan Dean, Billy Cone, Jimmy Buckner, Mark Zehnal,

Buck Buchanan, Jr., Jeff Burton, Jon Hamrick, Morris Swope

2. Discuss and provide recommendation on the following request for Declaratory Statement:

DCA06-DEC-270 by Cindy of CSP Roof Consultants

DCA06-DEC-284 by Steve Munnell, FRSA

3. Note: as part of the public comments, a representative of FRSA expressed his concern that large inventories of roofing shingles that do not meet the new shingle labeling requirement in the building code, effective December 8, 2006, currently exists. In order to allow use of the current inventory, he requested that the Commission issue a memo with regard to asphalt shingles clarifying that ASTM D 3161 modified to 110 mph is equivalent to ASTM D 3161 Class F that complies with wind resistance for 150 mph.
