Note: Amendment to achieve Governor Crist’s directive of 15% increased efficiency by January 1, 2009 will be done using procedures of Part VI, chapter 553, F.S. The Energy Code will be amended by administrative rule authorized by that part then the revised Energy Code will be adopted into the 2007 Florida Building Code during the currently scheduled “glitch” cycle.
