Program Overview

This program establishes, updates and maintains the Energy Efficiency Code for Building Construction, a state minimum energy conservation code. Copies of the code, code compliance, computer programs, instruction manuals and code forms are distributed statewide. The energy code is updated biennially to incorporate evolving technology and provides training and technical assistance for the building industry, local code officials and consumers.
