Refund Statement

To be considered by the Department, each application must be accompanied by the proper processing fee. The fee shall be paid by credit card or by electronic check via the Building Code Information System. The fee is non-refundable except as provided in Section 120.60, F.S., and in this section.
Upon receipt of the proper application fee, the processing time requirements of Sections 120.60(2), F.S., shall begin.
If an applicant submits an application fee in excess of the required fee, the processing time requirements of Sections 120.60(2), F.S., shall begin upon receipt, and the Department shall refund to the applicant the amount received in excess of the required fee.
